Extreme Makeover Home Edition comes to Indy

I received an email a couple weeks ago asking us to volunteer for Extreme Home Edition since we would be sponsoring the family. We would have priority on volunteer work, so I jumped at the opportunity. How often does the show come to Indy? umm never. So I got my email confirming my shift but they would not tell us anything as far as where the house was or the exact time of anything until they knocked on the door.
We ended up getting a shift from 2-10 on Friday.
So the job was not the best considering we had to pick up Trash for awhile but once we were done with the job we were let go and we were then asked to volunteer to take items into the house. While in the house I was able to take a tour. There was still a lot to be done before they could "move the bus" and they only had 1 day left, but it still looked so good!!!!
The out pour of the community was incredible! A huge shout out to Estridge Builder and all the volunteers because I don't think they get enough credit for all the hard work they do for the entire 7 days they are there!!!
Here are some pictures of the amazing work everyone did, enjoy!

What's been going on

I am still really busy with school, work and the kids but here is a few pics of the kids
Alexis doing her hair for the 1st time by herself. Bryson pulling himself up on everything. Even the swing that moves while he is doing it and it knocks him down every time. He fell, but because I had the camera he looked over at me and smiled. And here is a picture of his 1st bruise on his forehead and under his eye....he keeps falling because he is trying things he is too young to do!!!
